Looking For L&C Stuff?

In previous newsletters, we've mentioned places where you can get or order Lois & Clark merchandise. But it has been awhile, and we have so many new members, that we thought we'd do it again!!

If you're looking for...

L&C Posters or 8x10 pics

Visit MOVIE POSTERS at RICK'S

http://www.ricksmovie.com/

Go down towards the bottom of the page where it says "E-mail", and click on US POSTAL ADDRESS.

Then, fill out the entire form with your name, home address, or whatever it asks for. There will be a place to put comments. IMPORTANT: In this section, ask that they send you the regular catalog AND the "Star Photos Catalog". Also, ask them to send it First-Class. This is not necessary, but the catalog will get to you a whole lot sooner if it's sent that way.

WHAT YOU CAN ORDER: There are 2 L&C posters: "Have You Been To Metropolis Lately?" and a "steam" promo poster. There are also many 8x10s. The prices range from $3.50 to $18.00 per item, plus postage.

Lois & Clark Soundtrack

Visit Lois & Clark Soundtrack Homepage

http://www.sonicimages.com/soundtracks/loisclark/

You can order the soundtrack right on-line, or print out an order form to send in the regular mail. Or, have your local music store order it for you if they don't already carry it.

Lois & Clark 1998 Calendar

Visit The Official 1998 Superman Calendar

http://www.slowdazzle.com/smmain.htm

Awww...so what if 1998 only has a little over 5 months to go? You can still get this super collectible. For each month, there are great pictures of Dean Cain, Teri Hatcher, and Justin Whalin! This is a UK-based company, so that's where you have to order the calendar from, but you can do it right on-line and it's really easy if you know what you're doing:)

Lois & Clark Books/Novels

"Heatwave", "Exile", and "Deadly Games", by M.J. Friedman.

These three books are available in paperback. Check at your local book store, and if they don't have them, ask them to order them for you!

"Lois and Clark: A Superman Novel", by CJ Cherryh.

This book is available in hardcover or paperback (two different covers). Again, check your local bookstore, or if you are on America Online, go to Keyword: Barnes&Noble, for an on-line book store.

L&C Trading Cards

There are 90 regular cards

6 "BJ" cards, with painted pictures and glittery backgrounds

9 "puzzle" cards, which have pictures on the front, and the backs go together to make a picture when all nine are together

Try toy stores (like KayBee), comic book stores, trading card stores, sci-fi conventions, ask around in newsgroups and the Internet, etc.

Or WIN the set of 90 cards through the SuperSite!

http://members.aol.com/LoveLC/contests.html

Other L&C Stuff That's Available

Tattoos: these come with the boxes of trading cards, but many Internet FOLCs have extras and might be willing to share some with you :) These are temporary S-Shield tattoos.

Pin: Also comes with card boxes.

T-Shirts: Hard to find, but not impossible. Try Entertainment T-Shirt stores on-line or at the mall. One shirt is of L&C in white tank tops with S-Shield tattoos. The other shirt is the Warner Bros. Studio poster pose.

Scripts & Autographs: Hard to find and sometimes expensive. Try TV/movie media specialty stores, especially ones in California. Try the Internet, too.

TV Guides With Teri/Dean: Try sci-fi or collectors conventions.

Superman Stuff: Toy stores, WARNER BROS. STUDIO STORES, and just about anywhere!

:)THE JENN COLUMN(:

by Jenn LCA Prez

How many of you have noticed that there is a hot guy on L&C? Now you're all probably making weird faces, like "hello! duh!" Don't worry, I'm not galactically stupid, I've known there's a gorgeous guy on L&C for a long time! Dean! Can we all just take a minute to remember our favorite guy in tights? That's right, Dean gave us something every week. Not only his incredible acting abilities, but his adorable eyes, arms and smile. Could we have asked for a better-looking, up-to-date Clark Kent? Think about that. Seriously...we could have been stuck with Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Arnold, or Dennis Rodman. Could you imagine any one of those guys in tights? (well, excluding Dennis Rodman...I'm sure a lot of us could imagine that) We got lucky with Dean. I remember when I first saw the show, my mom said something to the effect of "Oh please, couldn't they find a handsome Clark Kent?" I was stunned. First off, look at him now...he is known for his incredible looks. But let's not just focus on his looks. He's got something really great inside that package...brains! I'll just say this: Princeton. History major. Wow! Remember Season's Greedings and Virtually Destroyed? It takes hard work and determination to write episodes for L&C. He's contributed so much. To us. To the show. To his future. Let's honor Dean by voting for him!! Come on guys, let's show our support! UltimateTV News -- Birthday Boys (http://www.ultimatetv.com/news/f/a/98/07/01julybirthdaysf.html)

L&C Questionette!

Last week's questionette was:

If Lois Lane and Clark Kent were online, what would they pick for their screennames/usernames/address? Use the name rules that your own online system. For example, on AOL, a username can have no more than 10 letters/spaces, and must start with a letter. Have fun!

Examples:

Lois: Topbanana2@aol.com

Perry: ElvisFrk56@aol.com

Remember, you have until July 12th to send in YOURS for the next newsletter! Send them to lovelc@aol.com or tvguidess@angelfire.com. We have gotten 3 responses, but we would love to have more! :)
