L&C Romantic
Quotes!
compiled by Erin
(Air36@aol.com)
Ok guys, in order to commemorate the 2nd Wedding Anniversary of the
*super* couple, I gathered a list of all sorts of cute, sweet, and romantic
lines and scenes that have occurred throughout the show. Obviously, this is only
a partial list. So, without further ado......
Lois and Clark:
Awwwww!!!!!
Before they admitted they were in
love:
"Every
woman in love thinks her man looks like Superman." Lois
"Liar! You are so
attracted to me!" Lois
"If you really want me, I'm yours." Clark
"Lois,
you don't know how many times I've thought about this, dreamt about this,
something like this." Clark
"You could've pretended we were sharing some
fleeting moment of passion!" Lois
"I'll remember that the next time we're in
a closet!" Clark
"Everything's going fine, assuming Lois lets me have my turn
in the bedroom tonight." Clark
"My wife would know that I loved her the way
she is. Why would she dye her hair red?" Clark
"Supposing someone is stupid
enought to say "I do" to you." Lois
"I'm available." Lois
"I guess your
voice sounds pretty sexy too." Lois
"People who love each other should be
kind to each other." Superman
They've finally admitted it.....
"If the earth opened up at my
feel, I wouldn't move until I'd said this....Lois, will you marry me?"
Clark
"I want you to know I love you. You're not alone anymore."
Lois
"Alone in paradise with the woman I love." Clark
"Being with you is
stronger than me alone." Clark
"I don't know how I feel. There's no one word.
I feel in danger, happy, scared, lost, found, safe." Clark
"You put up with
me for the exact same reason I put up with you! I am completely in love with
you!" Lois
"Love survives. Survives any joy. Any sorrow. All the rights. All
the wrongs. Even life and death." Mike

Maggie's Mouthful
~special edition~
"I don't know...how...I feel about you. There is no one
way. I feel (sigh)
so many things. And all at once. Happy. I'm kind of
scared, too. Excited.
Calm. Lost. Found. I feel safe in a way that I've never
known before, but
in danger, too. This thing between us, whatever it is, it's
stronger than
me. Being with you, is stronger than being alone. That's new to
me." Clark
Kent to Lois Lane in Ordinary People
That is one of my
favorite Romantic Moments. Thinking of Clark making that
speech always makes
me smile. It's special not only because of the words
he used, but the way he
said them. Love isn't just pink or red, when you
love someone, you go through
every color of the rainbow. From the fear of
rejection to the deep peace of
acceptance, at some point, you feel it all.
I haven't met my Clark Kent yet,
but whenever I remember this scene I know
that he will be worth the
wait.

What's On? TV & MOVIE NEWS
brought to you this
week by Karen (LadyFOLC@aol.com)!
Dawson's
Creek/Buffy Spoiler Alert!!!
Attention Dawson's Creek fans: if you are looking for
spoilers for the upcoming season, you have come to the right place. If you want
to be surprised, skip to the next section, because I have very detailed
information. I won't share all in this column, but I will give you the scoop on
Wednesday's premiere ep. I also have some Buffy info as well.
On
Wednesday, the premiere will start by zooming back in on Dawson's bedroom
window, exactly where we left off. The kiss leaves Dawson and Joey with many
questions - What happens now, are we boyfriend and girlfriend or in transition,
how do we deal with all these new feelings, the usual teen relationship angst.
Dawson and Joey will be so preoccupied with all of this that they forget Pacey's
birthday. Pacey will also get in a car accident (he won't be injured, don't
worry) when Andie, the new girl in town, hits his car. To make up for it, she
tells him she'll get him a date with her new friend Kristy the cheerleader.
Kristy dumps Pacey, and Pacey and Andie get together. Dawson and Joey go on a
date in a park, and Jen confronts them there. Jen runs off and Dawson chases
after her, and Pacey comes up and harrasses Joey about Dawson's departure. But
Dawson comes back and takes Joey to another area of the park for the rest of
their date. In the upcoming season, Joey and Dawson WILL break up, and there
will be big time tension between Dawson and Jack after Jen and Abby start rumors
that Jack and Joey slept together. But not to worry, Joey and Dawson WILL get
back together after a while, and Pacey will help them in doing so. Jen and Abby
will become best friends, but it will be an evil and dysfunctional relationship,
to say the least. Expect big trouble from these two.
In other DC news,
GUESS WHO IS GOING TO GUEST STAR?!?!? BUFFY!!! That's right, I've heard from
several sources that Sarah Michelle Gellar WILL be guest starring in one
episode, apparantly as a love interest for Dawson during Joey and Dawson's
hiatus. Also, expect holiday episodes this season for Thanksgiving, Christmas,
and Valentine's Day. And for Anderson fans, (Anderson was Joey's brief fling who
took her sailing, and she told him she was Debroah Kerr-son) he will be back in
two episodes.
In Buffy news, I have a LITTLE more info on the new
villian, Mr. Trick. Apparantly he will be sort of the anti-Spike - more of a
thinking villian. Very clever and clear-thinking, not impulsive and bullheaded
like Spike. Other villians will include a sort of Jekyll and Hyde type of rage
monster, Lyle Gorch (from Bad Eggs) and his bride Candy, Frawley the leathery
game hunter (I don't make the names, I just report them), and Kulak, the demon
with yellow skin and red eyes.
Next week - more on Dawson's Creek and the
Buffy spin-off 'Angel".

Trivia
Last newsletter's question
was:
>>Which one of the following pop culture icons have we NOT
seen or heard some sort of reference to on Lois & Clark?
A) Mrs.
Butterworth
B) Smokey Bear
C) Wheaties
D) The Energizer Bunny
E)
Madonna<<
The answer is "A", Mrs. Butterworth. A Smokey Bear
billboard was seen in "The Prankster", Wheaties and the Energizer Bunny were
mentioned in "Metallo", and Madonna was mentioned in "That Old Gang of Mine".
Congratulations to Chocluv120@aol.com!!! She gets 50 superdollars. Mandy also got the answer
correct. WTG everyone!
This newsletter's
trivia question is: OK, in honor of the Buffy news,
here's the question: In what L&C episode does someone mention vampires? Name
the episode *and* the person who says the word "vampires". Good luck! The first
person to answer correctly will get 50 superdollars! Send your answers to LoveLC@aol.com!

L&C Questionette
It's been two years
since Lois & Clark got married, so what do you think they're doing now?
Suppose the show was going into its sixth season now...what would our happy
couple be up to? Would they still live in their brownstone? Would they have any
kids yet? Has Lois won that Pulitzer? What magazines do L&C subscribe to? Do
they have any pets? Think carefully about this one, because instead of the usual
35 superdollars for the people with the best/funniest/most creative answers,
this time we'll be giving away an amazing 75 superdollars! Now, this is a
one-time event, seeing as how this is a holiday and all. So get those keyboards
out and start typing! Send your answers to LoveLC@aol.com. What do YOU think Lois &
Clark are doing right this second? Keep it PG-rated please! ;-)
