Hi, FOLCs! How's it going? Well, I'm happy to say I have almost completely updated the SuperStore. As soon as I upload the page (which I would do right now except America Online is being bad-o-rama), which I hope to do on Wednesday, you can go there--and see the new format! Now, everything you can "buy" is one one page, and from there you can see pictures of some of the items. Just added is a very cool L&C comic book! Not to mention the usual--trading cards, a calendar, Superman stuff, books, posters, pins, and pictures! Whew. Hey, are you short on Superdollars? Remember, you can get 50 with "Ask Cat Grant", 50 for trivia, and 35 for having a winning L&C Questionette. And guess what? There's a new L&C Questionette to respond to in this very newsletter! OK, so I should have it uploaded by Wednesday (10/21) night at the latest. Here is a link: The L&C SuperStore (http://members.aol.com/LoveLC/supstore.html).

What's New?

Don't forget! Superhero toys are coming to SUBWAY fast food places on OCTOBER 26th! I'm not sure when Superman will be given away, so keep your eyes open for Superman's arrival!

Teri Hatcher is going to be a guest on an upcoming episode of "Frasier!" Tune in OCTOBER 29th!

Here's a "Futuresport" review from Jessi! Thanks for sending it! :)

Futuresport was an excelent movie and I am mad at my friend for not
watching it, yet. (of course I recorded it so she will have to
eventually) I missed Thursday night NBC shows because of it and I
actually watched ABC, which is kind of against my vow of hatred against
them, but oh well. I am definetely NOT recording over that movie.
Besides the fact that Dean was in it :), I like unrealistic things.
(i.e. Superman: I mean what are the odds of a really cute alien guy
coming to earth and saving the world once or twice? Definetely worse
than the odds of me winning the lottery) Anyone who hasn't saw this
movie should try to find someone that has it taped!
Jessi

Hey! This is Sharpei11 and I'd really like a LC penpal. I'm 17/f but I don't care how old you are or what gender. My hobbies are LC (of course), dance, going out with friends, watching TV, and art although I rarely have time for them with school, work, and college applications to keep up with. Please let me know if you'd like to be my obsessed FoLC buddy! ~Sharpei11

L&C Questionette

This week's questionette...and for 35 superdollars (if yours is chosen as a lucky winner) is...

If there was one thing that Clark did on the show that just made you want to him with a Kryptonite linguini, what was it? Was it when Clark broke up with Lois? When he made some lame excuse at a very important moment? We know you all love Clark, but this is your chance to yell at him for that one time he wasn't always perfect. Go ahead, dig up the dirt!

Send your responses to me at lovelc@aol.com!

What's On?

Good news! Sam Lane didn't die in the explosion. Er, the actor who played Sam Lane on L&C plays Mr. Parker on "The Pretender". And last season's cliffhanger finale left us wondering...would Mr. Parker survive? But more importantly, would Jarod, Sydney, Miss Parker, and all the people we love make it out alive?

Last Saturday, "The Pretender" started it's third season off with a great episode! In continuation of last season's finale, with Sydney (that bad boy!) setting off the bomb to destroy sub-level 27, and Jarod and everyone hearing the blast and kind of staring at it like "Oh. Look. An explosion. Um, aughhhh!!??", we got to find out who survived. Here's how everyone did....

Jarod--Well, duh, he's the star of the show, you can't exactly kill him off. Nah, he made it out of there alive somehow, but how? That's his little secret.

Miss Parker--Still the old softy (hahahaaaa). She's determined to find out who her brother is. Is it Angelo? Is it Wackjob Four-Fingered Mr. Lyle? Maybe we'll find out in the next episode. I still think it's Jarod. Even though Jarod said it wasn't. But he's been known to lie occasionally, so I've got my fingers crossed. Then again, I'm still hoping for them to break down and have a crazy love affair...which wouldn't be too good if they're...you know...related.

Mr. Raines--What do you expect? The man is immortal! He must be. That's really creepy, but yeah, he's alive. Still up to no good.

Broots--Aw, poor guy. Got a broken arm and a couple of scratches.

Sydney--Not so good. For one thing, he can't see anything now. For another, the Centre's got him brainwashed. CooKoo. Wack-o.

Mr. Parker--Old Liar-Pants is alive and well. Although a part of me can't help but still see him as the guy who did those "Abs In A Bottle" infomercials (hehe).

So watch "The Pretender" this Saturday on NBC...because I said so! :)
