Maggie's Mouthful -- BiteSize Edition
by Maggie13@bellsouth.net

Hey people! Today we shall continue our Season 5 experience with Episode
20, Reformation.

In this ep, Jimmy moves to a bad part of town. Bad guys plot. Lois'
maternal instincts kick in. And Supes saves the day.

Here are Lois and Clark in the elevator, plotting their plan of action:

........"Do you think lifting prints off of the door, which Superman could
find for us, and taking them to our friend the Inspector for
identification, would work? And while he's looking for prints, Supes might
just accidentally peek through the walls and maybe see some contraband
weapons?"

"Supes?" Clark was overjoyed that Lois was being cautious, and decided to
skim over it. He latched instead on his newly acquired name.

"Supes. You know, a nickname. I like it. It has a nice ring to it."

"Lois, don't you think three names are enough?"

"Oh, you hardly ever use that Kal El thing, and besides, I'm sooo good at
making up nicknames. Remember how well Superman caught on? But if you
don't like Supes ... well ... I'll think of another one."

Tune in next time for the Season Finale!!! Oh! the excitement!

Dean Movie Review!
By Jessi (elfsrcool@hotmail.com)

Hey there everyone. Since I have mastered the art of getting
superdollars and writing fanfic, I have decided to expand my talent and
become a world class reporter. Ok, maybe not world class, but even Lois
had to start somewhere! So I give you a review on Dean Cain's new movie.
Now I know what youre thinking: '*gasp* I didn't know he had a movie
out!' Well, he does and I'm going to tell a little about it... It's
entitled 'Tracked'. Dean Cain plays Julian Tyler, in jail for assult,
and he has a real attitude problem. He wants to go in, get out and not
make any friends or anything. The psycho murderer dude that's in charge
doesn't like him. This all causes him to become a 'dogboy', which means
he's an inmate who trains dogs to track down attempted escapees. The
cops become involved, yadda, yadda, yadda... I'm not telling you
anymore. So now you can go to your local movie store (I found my copy at
Hollywood Video) and rent this without knowing everything about it. It
was made by Showtime and I think is rated 'R', but it's not that bad.
Hey, I'm 13 and I saw it! If you see or have seen this movie would you
please E-mail me and tell me how you liked it and I'll put your
responses in an upcoming newsletter? Thanks! That's all FoLC's!
Jessi

L&C Questionette

Here's your question!

It's Christmas time in Metropolis and as we were making our Christmas lists here at FOLC Central, we started thinking, what exactly does one get for someone who can fly to Paris for lunch and make a time machine at Super
Speed? And if one is married to that Paragon of Truth and Justice, who just happens to be a hunky alien too, what exactly could one *want* for the Holidays? Besides a sleighride with the hubby of course!

Soooo, for this questionette we ask you -- What do Lois and Clark get each other for Christmas? Be creative. Be waffy. Let that Christmas spirit loose, and win some SuperDollars all at the same time!

Send your answers to lovelc@aol.com and the funniest/most creative/best answerers will get 35 superdollars each! Thanks to Maggie for sending the idea in :)

The Obsession Connection
by a very bizarre individual

I love Dean. I love him so much and he is so hot. Okay, before anyone starts throwing things and calling me obsessive, I would like to just remind all of you (well, the females) that HE IS HOT.

Perhaps my hormones have gotten the best of me. I'm a teenager, so sue me. Don't worry, I'm not about to leave home, hitchhike to Dean's house, stand outside his door and sing showtunes until he comes out and agrees to marry me. You know why I wouldn't do that? Because that's too easy. I like things complicated. However, my complicated plan is so brilliant that I can not even share it with my fellow FOLCs for fear of one of them stealing my genius idea and getting to Dean ahead of me. Just imagine my surprise when I follow through with my plan, only to find that DeanCainLover678@internet.com has married my man, they have six kids and three dogs, and 2.4 cats.

I didn't always think Dean was cute. When L&C started, I was impartial. I guess I just didn't notice one way or the other. When Jack came on the show, I was like "Hello, Docta", and developed an immediate crush on the little rascal. Little. Ha. He's older than I am. But age aside, I thought Jack was all that. I saw his movies. I worshiped the four episodes he appeared in. I acted out his scenes. I wore black in honor of him.

Michael Landes. I still think he's the cutest Jimmy. I've seen his movies, too. In fact, the other day I started to watch "Please God, I'm Only 17" which I had taped right after "House of Luthor". Well, the first scene of this movie is pretty gross. Blood. Ew. So I turned it off. Then he's in the Danielle Steel Titanic movie where Titanic sinks 3 minutes after it hits the iceberg. And he was on "Union Square" although I didn't watch that very often. That Scardino guy scares me, even to this day.

Justin Whalin. He, too, has an after-school special, and he is just soooo cute. When I found out he was going to be the new Jimmy, I was like "Justin who?" but I got used to him pretty quickly. I love how Justin's Jimmy rode a motorcycle and had a cool car, although how he could afford a car when he could barely pay the rent is something I'm curious about.

Add to the gorgeous regulars a series of very fine-looking guest-stars: Antonio Sabato Jr., Steve Young, Sean Kanan, Mark Kiely, Jack Wagner, Bruce Campbell, Billy Dean, and the nameless FINE looking copy boy who I seek to this day (who is that man? I must get his phone number). This show's not just good...it's grrrrrrrrrreat! (Quote: Tony the Tiger)

(Okay, okay, this was a lame column, I'll admit, but I meant every word. Oh yeah...and check out this site, it's really cool: Destination: Metropolis (http://www.angelfire.com/ny/loisclark/index.html). :)

Until next time...bye.
