DEAN!!!!
If you saw "Fantasy
Island" on Saturday, please send your comments to me at lovelc@aol.com and I'll put them in an upcoming
newsletter. Did you love it? Hate it? On a scale from 9 to 10, how cute was
Dean, huh??? ;-) Be honest, because your comments will be anonymous (unless you
really want me to attatch your name to your comments--that's OK too).

Here's an update on actor Patrick Cassidy (aka Leslie Luckabee)
from smodolo@hotmail.com...
*****
He has been doing a lot of theatre. His
brother David just finished a
successful 2-year stint at the MGM Grand Hotel
in Las Vegas doing EFX
and Patrick substituted for him
He also did
Love Boat - The New Wave on Sat 2 Jan 99.
I have a URL if anyone is
interested in an authorized website for him.

Fantasy Island, Indeed
See, now I'm
happy. I knew if I waited long enough and suffered through enough throwaway
projects like FutureSchmutz, I'd finally see Dean in something I'd actually
enjoy. Tonight's "Fantasy Island" actually reminded me why I started the Dean
Cain Fan Club over two years ago.
Cute, funny, drunk, and in an expensive
Italian suit. Couldn't have been any better unless he showed up naked at my door
with a smile, three dozen roses and champagne as a plot twist. Or cream soda,
it's a current favorite. He looked good, he was generally quite believable, and
he cracked me up as a drunk. And for the children's sake, I won't go into the
part where he shows up in the office of the guy from Picket Fences holding his
crotch. But I got more than a kick out of it. This show actually inspired me to
use my most precious possession - Dean Cain's office number (which was not
obtained illegally, but given to me by Dean himself, thank you very much, put
that in your pipe and smoke it). Just to call him and tell him what a good job I
thought he did. And my new address, as well as the number of a good florist.
Just in case.
Of course, the rest of the show really did nothing for me.
I had my radio on during the scenes of Erika Eleniak trying to reclaim her
chastity. I feel bad for Erika. How can you not feel for a girl who's career
highpoint was "The Beverly Hillbillies" movie? And Man-chow Amick, or whatever
her name is, who played the guide that tried to help Erika, scared me to the
point of no return. She's the kind who'd beat you up for your shoelaces and
leave you for dead. Dead, I tell you!! Malcolm McDowell needs to lay off the
caffeine before his eyes really do pop out of his head, and I'm always happy to
see the people from Picket Fences doing work. Too bad the show was
canceled.
But forget them -- did I start a fan club for any of them? No!
I started it for Dean, the man I once called my little pudding cup of passion
and spent valuable time out of my day to hide his then-fiancee's foul country
music CD's in the new age section. (Nobody ever goes there.) Unlike when I
watched Futuresport, I actually cared about Dean's character here. When he was
found guilty, I actually felt a little stab in my heart that my former future
husband's character was going to the slammer. Stupid Malcolm McDowell. Sending
my once-loverman to prison!
So a big-time, big-house bravo to Mr. Cain.
You're young, single, and free in America! And until you show up at my door (I'd
prefer red roses, and either Moet or Jones Cream Soda), I expect you to keep
showing up on my screen.

Random Thoughts
I missed FOLC Central's
birthday! I can't believe it! You can kill me know, I don't mind.... Anyway,
Tennessee won the Fiesta Bowl, and Miami's playing Denver again, so my football
spirit has decreased to at least half of what it was a few days ago. My dad wore
a Broncos T-shirt when his horde of crotch-scratching, many-decibal-belching
pals came over, and I still don't get it. He told me he wore it because it was
orange...yeah, I can see that dad, but see the letters on it?
D-e-n-v-e-r-B-r-o-n-c-o-s. That spells Denver Broncos!! Okay....now, seeing as
this *is* a Lois and Clark based newsletter, I guess I should say something Lois
and Clark related. Umm....oh, yeah! I've been trying to tape the episodes that
I've missed - like the 2nd part of the Pilot and Strange Visitor (From Another
Planet) - but my VCR is *messed up!!* All it tapes is static, and yes, the VCR
is on the right channel, and no, my TV was not made when Charlie Chaplin was
popular.... And those episodes are two of my favs.!! I'm going to personally rip
the innards out of that thing when I get the chance...then sell it to a pawn
shop that has connections with the Black Market and hope that some poor sap in
Russia gets its dismantled corpse (hey, we live near Denver, it could happen).
I need something else to say...hmmm....I want to go to Aspen to I can
visit Dean. Of course, I'd need to find out exactly where he *lives* in Aspen.
But Aspen is about two or three hours away, and I don't have time for that,
unfortunately...unless, I sacrifice some important event in my schedule...such
as spending time on AOL (ha!). I wasn't really looking forward to Mindy's and
Dean's wedding, and now since (I think), they broke up, I don't think I have to
worry about it anymore. But when they were still together, I heard something
about them having their wedding somewhere here in Colorado, possibly Denver. All
I could think about was making it to their wedding, and standing on top of the
car across the street from the church, or whatever, and holding up a sign that
said, "We love you, Dean!!" Of course, it didn't occur to me that there would
probably not *be* an empty spot across the street...or that they might not have
a public wedding in an actual church...or that he might not even see me...or
that Mindy might come up and smack me...but, oh, well. It was a nice dream. If
that had ever actually happened, I could've died happy. But now that October
(the month they were supposed to get married in) has come and gone, I'm slightly
disappointed. Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy that Dean can still be
one of the "most eligible bachelors," but crazy as it was, I was really looking
forward to carrying that dream of mine into reality
That's all there is to that. Just wanted to let you guys know that I'll
probably lock myself in my room with my Lois and Clark scrapbook and tapes to
contemplate situations like that. Oh, jeez, I feel a spell of LCWS coming
on.....
