Your 'Fantasy Island'
Reviews!
So...what did you think of
Dean's performance on "Fantasy Island" last Saturday? Here are your thoughts!
It's not too late to send in yours if you haven't already :)

I loved Fantasy
Island!
I loved it because Dean was in it, it had a nice story &
it ended happy
(10 -- For Dean;
6 -- For the stories {since, IMO none of the
parts ended right ... they went too fast for me ... I mean, I loved all the
stories ... but ... well, they didn't go right IMO};
9 -- For funniness
factor; 10 -- For the fact that it made me cry
I would give the show
an 8.75

I didn't see all of it, but what I
did see I kinda liked. I only saw like the last 20 minutes but Dean was a
definetely a 10 on the scale of cuteness. The last part when he met the innocent
client, reminded me of Clark Kent.

All I gots
ta say is : WOW!! Actually, no, thats not all I gotta say :)
I loved the way
he looked in those suits..yumm :)
The part that made me laugh was when he
did that little bow before leaving that dude's office..obviously he was drunk.
As for that gurl who wanted her virginity back.... DAMN, is there even
that many guys in this world??
And as for the chubby guy..he made me laugh
:)

Well, I think over
all it was a good show. Now I would never even think to watch it if our Dean
wouldn't have been on it, but he was :-) I thought that Dean did a great job in
the show. I did however, see some of his superman features come out every now
and then. And of course Dean got a 10 when it came to how good he looked. I have
really missed seeing him on TV and it was great to see him up and acting
again.

I use to watch the old Fantasy Island years ago, and never watched
this new one until Saturday. I must say it was quite different. Mr. Roarke was
kind of sinister. He gives the people their fantasy and teachs them a life
lesson in the process.
I think Dean did a great job of acting. He was
sexy even as a lawyer. He really had the character's emotions good. While on the
witness stand, it actually looked like he was going to cry. I thought the
opening scenes with the zipper was cute.

I thought Dean did a great job like
always, I don't think it was his best performance but I thought it was a cute
episode and I was glad he did it cause when cute guys act in cute shows......it
makes them even more cute. I just hope more and more people recognize him so
that he will be on more shows. :)

Dean was absolutely great in 'Fantasy
Island'! I love that TV show! Not only because the first time I watch it, (it's
on ABC; I never watch ABC!) I see Dean, but just because it was a nifty TV
show... And now it's cancelled... ABC canceled LnC... notice a pattern??? If I
ever get a chance to talk to the people who decide these things, I swear on
Dean's hotness that I will give them a piece of my mind!!! Actually, here's
my theory... Dean was on LnC, which ABC cancelled... then he comes back with
Futuresport and his recent appearence in Fantasy Island and basically says "You
canceling LnC was a big mistake." and is now showing that off (a good thing). Go
him!!! Oh, and this scale of 1 to 10 you came up with, Dean is MUCH higher up
than a 10!!! And that bow he did thanking the bartender dude when he was drunk
was just hillarious!!!

My sister is
out of town, my sister is ooout of tooooown, hey
hey, she's gone... la la la!
Oh, excuse me. Just reveling in the abscence
of my sister. It isn't that I
hate her or anything (well, sometimes it is
I can think of two of my FoLC
friends who she likes, but anyway) Let me
illustrate this for you. The other
night, Carla (my sis) and I were
having an argument. See, she is out of town.
She's in Disneyworld as I
type. So this particular arguement was about
Disney. Here you go:
Carla: What should I pack for Disney? I'm going to
Disney world! I can't
wait to get to Disney World! I'll have so much fun at
Disney world.
Hooray for Disney! (Okay, maybe that's a tiny bit exaggerated
this is my column and I'll exaggerate if I want to!!)
Me:
Carla: Disney is magical!!!
Me:
Disney canceled Superman. Disney is evil!
Carla: I hate
Superman.
Me:
choice here
Carla: Yeah, if he
was REAL!
Me:
scrawny butt anytime. Except he wouldn't waste his time on
you!
Carla: He's too busy looking in the mirror...
mumbleconcietedjerkmumble
Me:
time looking in a mirror!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's
just say I won that little arguement.
whatever
CD I want to play now.. I can do that because there isn't a
sister to control
the cd player!!! :o)

The Obession
Connection
I have one great fear. That
in twenty years, I'll open my high school yearbook and scream with horror when I
see the pictures.
"Oh my gosh, did I wear THAT? What was I
THINKING?!"
Ah, the nightmare of nightmares. I think it's important to be
able to laugh at yourself occasionally. I mean, obviously you shouldn't laugh at
yourself all the time. People would look at you like you were nuts! But
occasionally? It's good. And when you end up looking back on your weirder years,
wondering what the heck you were thinking, you can just be thankful you've only
gotten...weirder. Yes, it happens. The weirdess will live on. Don't try to fight
it, there's no point.
And so this all comes down to one thing: L&C.
Like huh? you ask. Let me explain.
I remember high school as if it were
yesterday. Not that it was really all that long ago. I'm not trying to sound all
old and wise, because I'm definitely not old, and I'll definitely never be wise.
But yesterday, I decided to go through all my old 3-ring binders from high
school. I'm a packrat, I guess you could say. I don't throw anything away.
Throwing things away is traumatizing. So, I had 3-ring binders, just sitting
there on the shelf. My freshman one was grey, my junior one was blue, and my
senior one was also blue. I guess I must like blue, although if you want to know
the real truth, I like red better, but perhaps they didn't have any red binders
when I went shopping. And don't even ask me whatever happened to my binder from
my sophomore year.
9th grade--okay, picture this: It's 1994. I've been
watching L&C for awhile now, and I'm just starting to get a little bit
obsessed. Not a lot, but some. As I was going through by binder yesterday, I
kept finding papers about "Great Expectations". We had to read the book that
year. So all of these papers read like Pip Bios. Pip this, Estella that, Ms.
Havisham this and that and this and that, and to be honest, I don't even
remember what the book was about, except there was something about a wedding
cake that I just know was probably really, really stale. Then I came across a
piece of paper that was totally funny.
In what must have been my first
L&C-related article, I had done a survey for journalism class (or maybe it
was English class) on who the cutest actor in the whole world is. Guess who won?
Dean! I had forgotten about the assignment until yesterday. I even found the
actual survey sheet. Sure enough, Dean had gotten more votes than anyone...voted
on by a classroom full of 14-year-old girls. Girls with certain good taste, I
might add. But get this--I had spelled his name wrong, with an e! Dean Caine.
Hahaha, that really cracked me up, I couldn't even spell.
Fast-forward
one year. 1995/1996. I was taking a computer class, and had my own little
Macintosh disk that had a red label. I was proud of that disk. Every time we had
a class, I would change the name of the disk to something L&C related.
Something like: "NOS airs in 2 days!", NOS meaning Never On Sunday, of course.
I'd invent new acronyms--ILDCWAMPTMNTCM (I Love Dean Cain With A Major Passion
That Man Needs To Call Me).
I don't really laugh at these things I used
to do in my weirder days. Actually, I'm quite (there's an H.G. Wells word for
ya) proud of myself for being the good little FOLC that I was. I never did get
to start that L&C club at my school (I had enough members, but they said you
weren't allowed to have clubs about TV shows--only about chess and China and
safety and stuff. How rude!)
As for the clothes I wore in high
school...I probably WILL open up my yearbook in twenty hears and scream with
horror. But, that's how these things go.
