From Chris Mulder (fave fanfic author)

Hi, Cristin,
Thank you, and all the FoLCs at FoLC Central, for this honor and for
being voted winner of the "FoLC Fave Award for Favorite Fanfic
Author." :-) I'm sorry to be replying to this so late, but I've been
away from my computer for a few days. What a wonderful surprise
to find your note waiting for me when I downloaded my mail today.
You are all very kind to remember me and my stories, and I want to
say how much I appreciate it. :-) Thank you very, very much.
--Chris

Color Me Cristin
By: Cristin
CKandLL4ever@Juno.com (comments always welcome :o))

I love music. I especially love country music. I really really
love CMT (country music television). So, I really like country music
videos. I also like Lois and Clark. The only thing I like better than
watching CMT during commercials during Lois and Clark is watching Lois
and Clark videos set to country music. Yes, it is a worthwhile hobby for
any FoLC.
If you want to see some great music videos about Lois and Clark,
you should visit my friend Andrea's website. Her videos can be found (in
real video and avi format) at
http://www.annie.simplenet.com/creations.html (I'm pretty sure that that
addy is correct -- if not, just go to her main site --
www.annie.simplenet.com/loisclark -- winner of a FoLC Fave, btw, and
click til ya find the videos :o)).. I believe she is up to 7 videos now.
My personal favorites are Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me (her
first video) sung by Faith Hill, This Kiss sung by Faith Hill, and No
Place That Far sung by Sara Evans (Andrea's newest video). That last one
can be found at http://www.annie.simplenet.com/place.avi
She doesn't know I am writing my column about her videos. I
just figure, they're so great that everyone should know about them. :o)
Unfortunately, I'm having trouble getting the new one to play. It's an
avi and I can only get it to play a preview. :o( So, if anyone has any
ideas of how to get Windows 95 to play an avi for me (already tried find
and run, thanks), please let me in on the secret. :o) It seems to think
that it should be played as sound only. :o/ So, feel free to help me out.
Now I better get to work before my manager gets really mad. :o) Country
music and Lois and Clark... what a great pair. :o)

You Figure It Out!

This is a new section of the newsletter, where we ask you questions pertaining to L&C, and you answer them. The catch? You're supposed to be creative and funny, and give us off-the-wall answers that not only answer the question to some degree, but also make us laugh. Here's an example...

* * * * *
QUESTION: How does Superman spin into his Superman costume, when he is wearing a short-sleeved shirt and his suit was OBVIOUSLY NOT underneath his clothes?

ANSWER #1: Do you believe in magic? How does Superman fly? How do birds swim? It's all in the big book of Superhero-ish things do do. I will look it up for you...okay, here it is...

The act of Superman spinning succeeds in hypnotizing the viewer, such as yourself. While you are in a state of hypnosis, what you don't see is Superman running over to the closet, taking off his Clark clothes, putting on his Superman clothes, eating a Twinkie, kissing Lois, and then snapping his fingers. This is when you, the viewer, come out of your little trance and start to ask silly questions, such as, "How did he do that?"

ANSWER #2: Unbeknownst to us all, Superman now knows how to sew his own costumes. He keeps fabric, thread, and needles in all of his pockets. And when duty calls, he spins, sews himself a new costume at Super speed, and viola! He's now wearing a costume!

ANSWER #3: The Superman costume itself is just a hologram--an illusion. Superman really isn't wearing anything at all.

ANSWER #4: The arms we see on Clark have a rubber skin coating, that LOOKS like skin, but that actually comes off when he is spinning. Underneath his rubber arms, his suit is on. See!? Simple!

* * * * *

Please note that your answers do not have to make a lot of sense, they just have to be funny or interesting. Here are your questions...

QUESTIONS (there are two this week. You can answer either one, or both)

#1: If Superman were to become a vampire, would he still have his powers?

#2: Whatever happened to Lois's double, from "Madame Ex"?

I'll print all the answers we get, and then you can vote on your favorites! The response that gets the most votes will get 55 superdollars! So start sending us your responses for those questions...and remember...be funny. And if you can't be funny, who cares? Just answer the questions. Send all responses to LoveLC@aol.com! Thanks!!!!

Random Thoughts

Hey there all! I was watching TNT the other day while looking at old
newsletters and remembered something. The episode was "Pheremone, My
Lovely" and I never noticed how absolutely corny the intro is!!! I mean
it has nothing to do with the episode itself. It's such a funny
episode! Clark just saw Cat and the copy machine guy and Lois just said
"Minute's up Clark. Come to Mamma!" That's hilarious!!! "I plucked a
rose, It smelled like you. That fragrant scent embodies you. Oh
Rahalia!" That was Perry's poem. Anywho, I should tell you why I was
looking at newsletters. I was averaging up dates the newsletters came
out to determine when the next one wold come out. I found that on
average newsletters come out every 6.166666666667 days. Jimmy looks
like a girl when Supes saves him... Now Lois is doing the Dance of the
Seven Veils. She woke up... "Did I really do the Dance of the Seven
Veils?' 'Uh-huh, all seven." HAHA! Well, I'm gonna go see if I can go
join my friend Lisa to go to the NPSL Soccer All-Star Game. She'll be
glad I mentioned this event. Bye!
