Dean News!
by Cathy (Ranjet13@aol.com)
Hey FoDCs!! Here is a letter from
one of thousands of Dean's fans! She asks a very good question.
Dear
Cathy,
Ok, let me get this straight. All of these movies with Dean in it are
going to
play on tv all this year? ok do you know when? I want to tape every
single
one!!!! If you know tell me so I can write it down.
tkanks a
bunch!!
Love Tracy
Dear Tracy,
Thanx for the question! I know for
sure that the movie The Unconcerned is going to be a "made-for-tv-drama" and it
has been pre-sold to HBO already. But as far as For the Cause and Flight of
Fancy go.....I have only heard rumors about it being a "made-for-theatre-movie".
Sorry if that is not enough information. But if you have any more questions
about the Dean-ster, e-mail me. I love to hear from fellow FoDCs. Thanx again!
;)
Have a Dean-ful DAY!
Cathy
Your letter could be published on
the next letter too! Send your questions to Ranjet13@aol.com.
Have a
Dean-ful DAY!

Color Me Cristin
By: Cristin
CKandLL4ever@Juno.com
Hello Mr.
Man. You didn't think I'd come back. You didn't think I'd show up with my army
and this ammunition on my back. Um, ok, Alanis, go away now. Yep, that'll be all
from you. Thanks, come again. No, don't. Okay, hi all.
I love
GAP. Know what I really love? GAP kids. They have the best sales. I just got
these adorable black sporty pants and a white long sleeved hooded shirt there
for only $12.76. Bada bing, bada boom, Cristin has a new outfit, yay! :o) Since
you all care so deeply about my wardrobe.
Oh, I wrote a new fic! I can
barely get two paragraphs out on one I've been writing FOREVER, and I just bust
one out at work. Go figure. I have two fics in progress, and neither is going
anywhere fast. So that sucks. Well, this column is short, but that's okay. Next
time, FoLCaroos!

Maggie's Mouthful
by Maggie
(Maggie13@bellsouth.net)
I have a new obsession. There I said it.
O-b-s-e-s-s-i-o-n.
I never thought I'd love a show the way I love LnC, I
never thought
I'd print out pictures, search out fan sites, read message
boards,
or try to figure out how to turn a bitmap into an icon for
anything other than the love of Dean.
I was wrong. Not even, oops,
missed a spot kind of wrong, more like
Y2K adjust your computers, re-launch
your programs, hold everything, the
world stops at 9pm, kind of
wrong.
You see it all started at 8pm, I was watching a little Novela
(Spanish
soap) called, uhm, "The Usurper" (Good girl takes bad woman's
place, saves family business, cures family troubles, falls in love
with
bad woman's husband and.....well, you get the idea....)
Well, I was Ms.
Happy-Go-Lucky having fun at 8 always ignoring the previews
for "The Lie--La
Mentira" at 9pm (on Univision, in case you are wondering).
Then one day,
Veronica and Demetrio (Vero is like Truth in Italian
apparently and Demeter
is the goddess of home and hearth and the guy is an
Agricultural Engineer,
nifty eh?) were having an argument, tuned in for 5
minutes. The next day,
maybe 10 minutes, then I said to myself, Oh! that's
too much TV, just forget
that 9 O'clock thing.
I mean it's not as if I don't have columns to write or
bags to pack, or 50
other things I could be doing.
So, I'm in New
York in a hotel room calling my mom to check in right? It's
a little after 9,
I have Party of Five in the background as I dial. My mom
picks up the phone
(after she hears it's me, ofcourse, far be it from her
to actually *answer*
the phone before the answering machine does its duty).
And my mother, who has
never watched a soap opera of her own free will in
the history of her
ever-so-lovely life tells me, and I quote,
"Oh! can't talk now, he has a
gun!"
exasperated me-- "Huh?"
"He has a gun! and they are arguing, go put
it on NOW"
That was it. And it's all my mother's fault. You see, Demetrio
married
Veronica
to avenge his brother's death only thing is she had
nothing to do with it.
He then fell
head over heels in love with her
right about the time he shattered her
heart in a million little pieces. He is
now in
I-must-win-her-back-or-die-mode and it's just *loads* of
fun!
(Oh, and the gun thing, in case you are concerned, turned out just
fine,
*she* actually gave him the gun because she was really mad and
said
fine, if you want to kill me, here. just get your revenge over
with,
because I'm
not going to live like this anymore---she left, he found
out the truth,
went after
her to beg for forgiveness and is still
groveling)
And how exactly is this related to Lois and Clark you might be
asking
yourself
right about. . . now. Well, because *everything* is,
isn't it? :o)
But I've already babbled enough as it is so I'll skip the
Soulmates lecture
and go straight to the quotes.
There is this evil
girl who is very materialistic and they are trying
to give her a bad time
(think Mindy Church combined with Lana Lang,
*very* annoying). They are all
out to dinner and her husband tells her
he is giving up his inheritance and
moving to the country.
Demetrio lives in the country and has a huge hacienda
where they
make Tequila, the evil girl thinks she'll live in the equivalent
of a Mansion, and asks what her house will be like.
Demetrio tells her,
Oh, don't worry, your house
will be fine. It has no floor and the roof is,
well,
gone with the wind, but don't you worry, You'll love it!
Kind of
hard to translate, but in Spanish, it was better than
Frasier!
In another Episode Demetrio finds out from some Hospital
papers
that his wife, Veronica, is pregnant. They are still
estranged so he goes to
her office to see her.
He asks her if she didn't notice anything out of
the
ordinary in the Tests they took at the hospital. She says no.
He says
well, here are the test results. She says thank you.
He asks her if she knows
what she has, she says, I don't have
anything, I feel great, are you finished
yet?
He says there is something the tests found that interests
him
greatly. She says, Oh, really? (first season Lois has *nothing*
on this
girl!)
Then he says, with a sneaky looking kind of smile, well, don't
you
crave anything? Like an ice cream, or a chocolate cake? Because I
sure
do. Veronica, we're pregnant.
That was *so* sweet. Wrote my
whole column just to get to that little
quote!
Hope you all found it
as waffy as I did...................
