Color Me Cristin -- Movie Edition
By: Cristin
CKandLL4ever@Juno.com

Okay, movies rock. I don't know what to write this column on. So, I'll write about the movies I've seen recently. Sound cool?

Hmmm, Cruel Intentions. That movie was okay. I thought Sarah Michelle Gellar's character was weird, and I didn't like her acting. Ryan Phillipe did okay, but I would've liked him better if he wasn't a teen heart throb guy. Cause he is pretty ugly looking. So it doesn't make sense. Reese Witherspoon did wonderful. Her acting was the best in the movie IMO. Selma Blair was hilarious. I really really didn't like the ending.

Ed TV was good. Everyone thinks it is just like The Truman Show. Not only are they way different, Ed TV is much better. Okay, TS was a drama, ETV is a comedy. Truman didn't know he was on TV, Ed did. Oh, and Matthew McCoughnahey (sp) is WAY hotter than Jim Carrey!!!!!! The chick from Dharma and Greg, Jenna Elfman, was great in this movie. Ellen Degeneres was good too. She was so funny. Good movie.

October Sky. The previews looked dull, but the movie was awesome. It made me laugh and cry and sneeze and all that important stuff. The downside? Disney made it. Booooooo! However, it is the best movie I have seen lately. See it! Oh, and it is based on a true story. The main character is cute too.

The Rage: Carrie 2. This movie was better than the original. The Emily Berghl (sp) chick was cool. I liked the connection with the first movie though it wasn't really a sequel. Oh, and ya gotta love a story where all the popular people die. :o)

The King And I. Cute movie, cartoon NOT BY DISNEY. I hear it is a disgrace to the musical. However, I haven't seen the musical. So I liked it. Cute songs.

Forces Of Nature. First and foremost, Ben Affleck is hot. Also, Sandra Bullock rocks and Maura Tierney (sp) is cool too. This movie was really cool. I reccomend everyone sees it *unless your dumb theater is not showing it (Molly)*. It is the best movie since October Sky is Disney and therefore evil. It was funny and had its sad boo hoo parts too.

The Deep End Of The Ocean. This movie was good, and Michelle Pfieffer rocks. However, it wasn't as good as the previews make it look. It was sort of chick-flickish but not totally. So, see it if you like Michelle Pfieffer.

Message In A Bottle. This movie was SO sweet!!!! It is out of some theaters now. So I hope y'all can see it. It was SO sweet, made me cry. SEE IT! Oh, and Kevin Costner (tell me I got his name right) is hot for an old guy.

That is my movie summary. I can not wait til Never Been Kissed comes out. It is SO gonna rock. Coming soon, the special Kerth awards edition of Color Me Cristin. I plan to be on the red carpet (keyboard, whatever) interviewing the nominees and seeing what they are wearing! Also in the near future, the special 100th issue of FC!!

The E-Files
by Erin

Hi :) How is everyone? I'm fine. I had to do a Book review for history, and I finally finished it, so I am pretty happy :) Hehe. My next project is to write a FanFic. I've never written one before. I have tried millions of times, but I always end up saying "This stinks", so I delete it. It's not easy :) I wanted to get some practice before I start writing if, so I am looking for someone to do a Round Robin fic with me! If you're interested, click here. :o) I want to get nominated at the Kerth Awards next year. I think that would be awsome!! Speaking of the Kerth Awards, I am going to be interviewing one winner per issue. I'm really excited about that. I love interviewing people!!
Well, I *know* this column is short. But to make up for the shortness, I will write a *SUPER* column for the next issue. So tune in for that!
Ciao!!

Random Thoughts
by Jessi

Hi there people. My day is SO much longer now that LnC isn't on TNT at
4:00 anymore. To relieve my LCWS one day, I went to go watch Virtually
Destroyed, but I discovered I recorded some other episode before it on
the wrong tape speed, so VD wasn't there. I was depressed. Recently, my
town has been very Smallville-like. I've been seeing everyone I know
like 10 times in one day, I found that our local video store DOESN'T
have either Tracked or Best Men and then I went to the "big city"'s
video store and found that it has both movies, but they aren't in. I
have also been depressed since my aunt and uncle came to here (KS) from
Tenessee; they have a WB store there. Where I live, "The closest one's
in Kansas City." Martha said that in... now I'm forgetting episode
titles! It was the one where Tempus tells Lois she's been galactically
stupid about Clark being Superman. Well, I think I've took up quite a
bit of your time. I shall go off now and... finish the 5th season. Yes,
I've been a bad FoLC and not kept up with the written seasons. I'm going
to go fix that though... Bye for now!
~Jessi
